[drop_cap color=”#4a4a4a” background=”#ffffff”]T[/drop_cap]horacic roation is a movement pattern that we see restricted in athletes and weekend warriors time and time again. Despite our best efforts to minimize screen time and rest our posture from time to time, modern day living creates a whole lot of stiffness through the mid back. The result? When we try to rotate in our golf swing or to throw that left hook, the low back and the neck have a tendency to take up the slack. We leak energy through the movement pattern, losing power and potentially causing an injury. With that in mind, doing our best to improve thoracic rotation in our warmup or prep work is probably a good idea. Follow along with this quick thoracic rotation mobility routine to help free things up and get everything moving nice and smooth.
